Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Functioning Coach to join our team. As an Executive Functioning Coach, you will work closely with individuals who struggle with executive functioning skills, such as organization, time management, planning, and self-regulation. Your role will involve assessing, designing, and implementing strategies to improve executive functioning abilities in clients across various age groups and backgrounds.

What you will do

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ executive functioning abilities through interviews, observations, and standardized assessments.
  • Develop individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings, setting clear and measurable goals.
  • Implement evidence-based strategies and interventions to improve executive functioning skills in clients.
  • Provide direct instruction and coaching to clients, teaching them effective strategies for organization, time management, planning, problem-solving, and self-regulation.
  • Collaborate with clients’ families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to intervention and support.
  • Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to intervention plans as needed.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, addressing their specific needs and challenges.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in the field of executive functioning, incorporating them into your practice.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client assessments, progress, and interventions.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with individuals with executive functioning challenges.
  • In-depth knowledge of executive functioning skills and their development across different age groups.
  • Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and methods for evaluating executive functioning abilities.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based interventions and strategies for improving executive functioning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals.
  • Proven ability to develop individualized intervention plans and implement them successfully.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
  • Compassionate, empathy, patient, and able to establish rapport with clients of all ages.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and software applications related to executive functioning support is a plus.
  • Professional certification in executive functioning coaching or related areas is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 session hour per week
  • Attend bimonthly staff/peer consultation meetings (optional).

Schedule

Flexible Schedule: Monday to Friday and weekends
